What are the necessary conditions for equity, inclusion and diversity? To answer this question, we will first examine what is the common and particular voice in the constructions of identity categories such as gender, race, disability, and class, within the framework of foundational debates about recognition, redistribution, and intersectionality.

Second, we will discuss the challenges we face in terms of equity, inclusion and diversity through current social movement manifestations such as #blacklivesmatter #sayhername, #metoo and #thebarriersweface, among others.
