Environmental Issues

Today's environmental issues pose increasingly urgent challenges, forcing us to rethink our lifestyles. In this course you will be provided with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary environmental challenges, including climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss.


The Environmental Issues activity is part of Area 4 of the Gap Year in Spain program of CIS and UC3M.

Through interactive discussions and field activities, participants will learn effective strategies for reducing their ecological footprint and promoting community awareness around environmental issues. The course emphasizes the importance of recycling, waste management, and sustainable practices, encouraging students to adopt habits that contribute to a healthier planet.
