Sports

This course is designed to immerse students in the world of physical fitness and healthy living. Through a series of practical experiences, participants will explore various sports disciplines, the importance of regular physical activity, and how to cultivate lifelong fitness habits.


The Sports activity is part of Area 3 of the Gap Year in Spain program of CIS and UC3M.

The workshops included in the course aim to inspire a passion for sports, equipping students with the tools they need to make informed choices about their health and fitness.


Learning Outcomes


By the end of the course you will be able to:

  1. Identify and describe key principles of physical fitness and their benefits.

  2. Choose the type of physical activity that best suits your lifestyle and integrate it into your daily routine.

  3. Demonstrate basic techniques in various sports and physical activities.

  4. Analyze the impact of nutrition on sports performance.

  5. Articulate the importance of teamwork and communication in sports settings.
